Rosie & Josh’s Wedding Bands
One of the most rewarding aspects of bespoke jewellery is helping couples create pieces that celebrate their love. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Josh and Rosie to craft the wedding bands of their dreams.
Rosie’s engagement ring had a unique profile, so we designed a wedding band that would seamlessly complement its style. I crafted Rosie’s band using luxurious 18ct white gold, ensuring it was elegant and timeless.
For Josh, we wanted something symbolic and deeply meaningful. He loved the idea of a Möbius strip – a one-sided, endless loop that represents infinity and unity. We incorporated this concept into his wedding band design, carving it from wax and casting it in silky 9ct yellow gold. The result was a piece that was not only unique but also incredibly comfortable for everyday wear.
Working with Josh and Rosie was an unforgettable experience. Their love story was woven into every detail of the design, making their wedding bands truly special. It was such an honour to be a part of their journey and help them create pieces that will hold deep meaning for the rest of their lives.
Liz’s Ring
Another memorable project involved designing a custom ring for Liz, a regular client of mine. Liz loves escaping the busy streets of Melbourne to visit the serene beaches of Glenelg South, where our beautiful Studio Gallery is.
Inspired by her favourite TV show, Diriliş: Ertuğrul, a historical drama set in the 13th century, Liz wanted a ring that resembled the ancient archery rings worn by the show’s characters. I worked closely with Liz to create a stylish, everyday ring that captured the essence of this historical era and the show.
The design was a beautiful blend of history and personal style. I handcrafted the ring in crisp, white gold, then worked with a talented hand engraver to bring the intricate patterns to life. Liz was thrilled with the result and excited to wear her one-of-a-kind piece. It was incredibly rewarding to create a custom piece that resonated so deeply with her.
